UN's Sustainable Development Goals

 

The UN's Agenda 2030 and its 17 main goals aim at sustainable development that comprehensively takes into account the environment, economy, and people.

Mandatum is committed to promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), four of which are particularly relevant to the company’s operations and impacts:

Collaboration with WWF Finland

Mandatum works together with WWF Finland to promote responsible investment and mitigate climate change and biodiversity loss. The collaboration, which began in 2017, focuses on creating concrete practices and guidelines for how investors can advance climate and environmental responsibility.

In 2025, Mandatum and WWF Finland published the Investor’s Guide to the Climate and Environment, which provides practical instructions for taking climate and biodiversity into account in investment activities.
